Mill Worker/Machine Operator Ellsworth, WI

Position: Mill Worker/Machine Operator, Ellsworth
Department: Mill
Direct Supervisor: Mill Supervisor, Ellsworth

Applicants are encouraged to stop in to complete an application, Monday-Thursday 6 am – 3 pm.

• Operate a variety of wood cutting machines to prepare cabinet parts
• Operate a variety of automated machines to assemble cabinet parts
• Stack cabinet parts on pallets
• Comply with all safety, quality and productivity guidelines
• Communicate safety hazards or quality non-compliance to Supervisor
• Coordinate with Supervisor for necessary repairs of equipment
• Work with a variety of peers daily to complete production tasks

• Strength and stamina to lift 25 lbs. constantly
• Strength and stamina to lift 50 lbs. frequently
• Able to walk, stand, bend, twist, kneel, squat, push, pull for the entire work shift
• Able to push/pull cabinets with a pallet jack while walking
• Able to read a tape measure
• Able to provide valid documentation to work in the U.S.
• Able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol screen and background check

• May be exposed to noise levels greater than or equal to 85 decibels up to 10 hours each work shift
• Must wear hearing protection at all times in production areas
• Must wear safety glasses at all times in production areas
• Must be able to work in moderate levels of wood dust
• May be exposed to moderate levels of carbon monoxide
