Position: Lead, Assembly

Direct Supervisor: Assembly Supervisor

• Monitor the daily production quality of each area of responsibility
• Teach the importance of quality and safety to all employees in their area of responsibility
• Assist on the lines to achieve the daily production goals
• Helps to improve efficiencies in areas of assignment
• Able to work independently
• Able to communicate effectively with a varied group of employees
• Able to fill in during the Supervisors absence
• Able to complete all necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Follows all safety rules and present safety suggestions
This is an on-the-floor position.  100% of the time will be working next to the employees on the line; providing training, work direction and any assistance necessary

• Able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol screen and background check
• Able to provide valid documentation to work in the U.S.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, push, pull the entire work shift
• Able to lift 50 lbs. frequently, including overhead
• Able to read a tape measure
• Quality One Woodwork forklift certified within 6 months of employment
• CPR and First Aid certified within one year of employment
• Able to assist with inventory, quarterly

• May be exposed to noise levels greater than or equal to 85 decibels up to 10 hours each work shift
• Must wear hearing protection at all times in production areas
• Must wear safety glasses at all times in production areas
• Must be able to work in moderate levels of wood dust
• May be exposed to moderate levels of carbon monoxide
